Mission:
The Contemporary Art Fund Foundation is a civil association established with the purpose of ensuring the fulfillment of the mission of the UNAM’s Contemporary Art Museum, the fulfillment of the Institutional Plan and its Annual Strategic Plan. The Association is conceived as an organization that brings together individual efforts in collective actions carefully planned to coincide with the exhibition program, expanding the artistic, documentary and design collections, and the social retribution projects of the MUAC.
Objectives:
- Support the MUAC’s mission and the achievement of its Institutional Plan.
- Secure its own equity. Foster the consistent work of associates with a view to securing the permanence of the MUAC, contributing to its financial stability, and establishing support and lobbying networks.
- Encourage support from people committed to the mission of the institution and act as a spokesperson before the national and international community.
- Promote the updating and continuous training of MUAC professionals. Establish Chapters to support specific programs.
- Establish affiliation and cohesion strategies for associates.
- Make use of online technologies and other supports and media to disseminate the work and purposes of the Association.
